Prof Activities: Ron Carruth, adjunct professor in the Educational Administrative Credential Program, has been appointed superintendent of the Whittier City School District. Currently assistant superitnendent of education services at Whittier Union High School District, Carruth will oversee 6,400 students in the K-8 district. He has 20 years of experience at the middle and high school levels and has won several awards for his leadership and teaching. Carruth begins his new assignment Aug. 1.
