Marijuana vending machines contradict new workplace laws

Medical marijuana users with prescriptions are now at a much greater risk of losing their jobs for using the drug, despite California's laws that allow the purchase and use of marijuana for medical purposes.

A recent California Supreme Court ruling permits employers to fire workers with prescriptions for using the drug, even while off-duty.
