 | E-Mail Spam Alert Cal Poly Pomona PolyCentric has posted the following: A fraudulent e-mail purporting to be from the Cal Poly Pomona Help Desk is circulating March 17. Addressed to Dear Csupomona Owner, the message asks recipients to go to a Web page to update their e-mail account by logging in with their user name and password. THE MESSAGE IS A PHISHING SCAM. It is not from the Help Desk or anyone else within I&IT. You SHOULD NOT take any action other than deleting the message. I&IT advertises the legitimate e-mail address helpdesk@csupomona.e du throughout its ehelp pages for end-user technical support enquiries. More... |
