 | KRS-ONE Speaks at Cal Poly Pomona Cal Poly Pomona PolyCentric has posted the following: ASI's BEAT will be hosting a free lecture by Hip Hop artist KRS-ONE on Feb. 8 in the Ursa Major Suite of the Bronco Student Center (Bldg 35-2611). The lecture will focus on the culture and history of Hip Hop; a Q&A session with the artist will follow the lecture. KRS-ONE has been a prominent voice in the Hip Hop community for more than a decade. His music raises awareness about many political and ethical issues through intelligent lyrical compositions. The lecture will follow Strictly Sessions which begins at 6:30 p.m. There will be priority seating for students with their Cal Poly Pomona ID. More... |
