Come join us at the Career Center Classroom, Bldg. 97, Room 120 from 1:00pm to 1:30pm -- Are you interested in career options in state government and public policy? This Monday a policy advisor to the State Treasurer and current California Executive Fellow will be on campus to talk with interested students and answer questions about careers in public policy and the nationally recognized Capital Fellows Programs run by the Center for California Studies at Sacramento State University.

Fellows in these programs receive an outstanding opportunity to engage in public service and prepare for future careers, while actively contributing to the development and implementation of public policy in California. They work as full-time members of a legislative, executive, or judicial branch office, and are typically given assignments with a significant amount of responsibility and challenge. Fellows also enroll as graduate students at CSUS and receive 12 graduate credits. Former fellows and associates include a Justice of the California Supreme Court, members of the United States Congress and the State Legislature, a deputy director of the Peace Corps, corporate executives, and local government and community leaders."
