Good morning, Cal Poly building occupants.


On Saturday, April 8, 2006, starting at 6:00 a.m. and continuing until 12:00 noon, and possibly throughout the day, Facilities Management’s electricians will be testing campus fire alarms in all major buildings except those in the residence halls, Bronco Student Center, and Kellogg West. The testing has been scheduled to cause the least interference with campus activities.

The fire alarm testing scheduled for Saturday, April 8, 2006, has been CANCELLED due to numerous conflicting campus activities.


Saturday April 15th and Saturday April 22nd are being considered for fire alarm testing in all major buildings except those in the residence halls, Bronco Student Center, and Kellogg West. The testing would start at 6:00 a.m. and continue until 12:00 noon, and possibly throughout the day.

To help us select a testing date that will cause the least interference with campus activities, please contact Earl Roberts, Supervisor of the Electrical Maintenance Shop, with any questions or concerns regarding the two proposed dates.
