MHR 200 and MHR 400 Spring 2006 (EMail)

Hello MHR Students--

It’s time to be registering for spring quarter! Here’s some information on MHR 200 and MHR 400. Both are required courses for those of you on the 2005-06 curriculum sheet.

MHR 200, Section 03.

If you are a transfer student, you should take MHR 200 Section 3 your first quarter at Cal Poly Pomona. If you have not already taken MHR 200, please enroll in MHR 200, Section 3 this quarter. The class is a hybrid class which meets only once a week from 12:00-12:50. Please see the schedule of class for meeting dates.

First time freshmen, you should take the class in your fourth quarter at Cal Poly Pomona.

Dr. Jeanne Almaraz is teaching MHR 200, Section 3. I would be glad to answer any questions you have about the course, or you can contact Dr. Almaraz.

MHR 400, Section 03.

If you have already taken MHR 200, then you should take MHR 400 Section 3, especially if you are near graduation. The class is a hybrid class which meets only once a week from 12:00-12:50. Please see the schedule of class for meeting dates.

Dr. Carlos Gonzalez is teaching MHR 400, Section 3. I would be glad to answer any questions you have about the course, or you can contact Dr. Gonzalez.

Best wishes for a great spring quarter!
Kathy

How to Enroll in MHR 200, 400, 441, 442 (Email)

Hello MHR Students,

Many of you have been asking how to enroll in MHR 200, 400, and internship (MHR 441, 442). Here’s what you do.

For MHR 200 and MHR 400, go to the electronic schedule of classes. You want to register in MHR 200 Section 3 or MHR 400 Section 3. Both of these are still open. Click on the icon at the far right of the screen for class details, including when and where the classes meet.

For MHR 441, 442:
1. Complete the Internship Pre-approval form. It is on the MHR web site at http://www.csupomona.edu/~mhr/.

2. Take your completed form for approval to either me or Dr. Jeanne Almaraz.

3. Once your internship is approved, you will receive a permission number to enroll in the class.

Best wishes for a successful spring registration.
Kathy
