Despite gas consumption decline, fewer students sharing rides

Californians are using less gasoline, while the price of oil rose to more than $100 a barrel for the first time, according to findings released last week by the Los Angeles Times. Although some students are having problems paying for gas that is more than $3 a gallon, the number of students using rideshare has decreased from 2006.
