Prof Activities: Darouche Showgii, professor emeritus of architecture, will be featured in an upcoming episode of "Extreme Living" on HGTV. The program highlights homeowners around the country who live in unconventional homes in seemingly unlivable and extreme conditions. Showghi, a lontime Laguna Beach resident, will discuss his multi-tiered home that plummets down a 60-foot by 140-foot site with a 90-foot drop. The Nyes Place home features four floors with ocean views, art studio, guest apartment and private gardens. The show airs Thursday, July 24 on HGTV.
