College of Business Administration Update

Greetings,

For many years, the College of Business Administration has faced extraordinary challenges with classroom, laboratory and faculty office space. We have been a college of many buildings. I know you realize how difficult it is to connect with your professors or our lack of quality space to work and learn.

But Cal Poly Pomona and the California State University are working on a solution, one that will create a state-of-the-art learning center for the exclusive use of our college. The new CBA building will be located adjacent to the Rose Garden and will help us address the instructional needs of current and future generations of students. Like many other facilities in the CSU, this is ultimately possible through public-private partnerships.

On the public side, funding will become available from Proposition 1D on the November 7 ballot. Prop. 1D is a statewide bond measure that will dedicate $10.4 billion dollars to update facilities in all levels of education - K-12, community colleges, the CSU system and the University of California.

Before you vote on Tuesday, the 7th, Please educate yourself about 1D and its impact on all of California, including Cal Poly Pomona.
