The 411: CAREER SUCCESS CONFERENCE CAN BOOST CAREER PLANS

As the Spring Quarter winds down, thoughts turn to summertime. Summer is just around the corner. What are your plans?


If you have a “Dream Job” all lined up and waiting for you, congratulations! However, for many students, these are anxious times filled with unanswered questions. “Is it too late to apply for an internship?” “What is an internship?” “Can I find a part-time job and take classes to prepare for graduate school?” “What kind of job can I get with my major?” “What will the hiring managers ask me in an interview?” “Do I have to wear dress-up clothes just to meet with a potential employer?” “I’ve been on several interviews but still haven’t landed a job…what should I do?” “A couple of firms have extended offers, but I’m not sure which one to choose.” “I haven’t even started looking for work. Is it too late?”


No. It’s not too late. In fact the Cal Poly Pomona Career Center has a perfect response for all of these questions and more. The Career Success Conference on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 will help answer your job and career questions and give your summer plans a huge boost. From 8:30 am to 4:00 pm in the Bronco Student Center, this special program is a fun and informative day of important career information and assistance.


All Cal Poly Pomona students are welcome no matter what major or class level. Juniors and seniors are especially encouraged to register and attend.
