More Summer Classes
You spoke and we listened. A campus-wide student survey was conducted during the winter quarter to provide students with the opportunity to communicate their preferences for summer courses.

The good news:
* The summer 2006 schedule includes more than 245 "new" classes; that is, classes that were not offered last summer.
* 61% of the 245 “new” classes are 300 and 400 level classes.
* 95% of the courses specifically requested by survey respondents are being offered this summer.

As these numbers show, the academic colleges have made a strong commitment to expand summer course offerings to assist you in getting ahead with your progress to graduation.

Five Week Courses
A limited number of five-week classes will be offered this summer. All five-week courses will begin on June 19, the first day of the regular ten-week quarter, and meet for four hours a day for two days a week or two hours a day for four days a week.

Financial Aid
Additional summer funding is available to eligible continuing Cal Poly Pomona students who were awarded financial aid for the 2005-06 year. Additional grants, federal work study and loans may be available to qualified undergraduate students based on their total aid received to date for the 2005-06 year and the availability of funds. To be eligible, an undergraduate student must be enrolled for summer at least half-time (6 units or more), have financial need, and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.
