![]() | The 411: TAKE THE e-CHUG CHALLENGE Take a short, on-line survey to get an accurate and detailed assessment of your alcohol use and then compare that level of use with other college students nationally AND here at Cal Poly Pomona. Called “e-CHUG,” which stands for the “electronic check-up to go,” the survey was developed by educators at San Diego State University to give realistic information about individual students’ use of alcohol and how that use compares with others who are like them. Colleges and universities from throughout California and the rest of the United States, make the free survey available to help get good information regarding alcohol use out to students. The survey is anonymous and confidential. Student data is collected and reported back to the University twice a year in a cumulative form: there is NO WAY that individual responses can be known by Cal Poly Pomona officials. When the survey is completed, students can, if they choose, print out a certificate to prove they’ve completed it. Each of the student-athletes on Bronco teams took the survey this past year, as have members of many classes. It takes about ten minutes and is available at http://interwork.sdsu.edu/echug2/CPP. Be sure to use this Cal Poly Pomona specific URL to compare your use with other CPP students. |
