Buyback reminder - last day is tomorrow 3/16/07

Bronco Bookstore wants to remind all students that tomorrow, Friday March 16, is the final day of our quarter-closing buyback event. You don’t need to follow the rainbow to find the pot of gold at the end, just turn your textbooks (the ones you don’t need to keep for your major or profession) into “gold” by selling them back to us!

Buyback hours tonight, Thursday March 15:
Bronco Bookstore: Open til 6:30 pm
Village Apartments: Open til 6pm

Buyback Hours tomorrow – Friday March 16:
Bronco Bookstore: 8:30am-5pm
Campus Marketplace: 10am-3pm
Village Apartments: 11am-4pm

What You Need to Know About Buyback Prices:
Books that Bronco Bookstore still needs for classes in Spring or future quarters are worth up to 50% of the original new selling price – we pay the same whether the book was originally purchased new or used. No receipt is necessary, and it doesn’t matter if you purchased it from us or a competitor originally – the only determining factor is how many copies we need for the next class. These books are put back on our shelves as used books that save next quarter’s students 25% on their book purchases.

All other current edition books are bought back at current national “wholesale” prices as established by the major used book companies. These vary according to national demand and how soon a new edition is due out, but wholesale buyback values usually range from 10-25% of the original new price. Novels, trade books and study guides usually less, but it all adds up! Books bought as “wholesale” are sold off to a used book company, which in turn sells them to other college stores nationwide.

You can check the current buyback value of your books by using our online buyback quote service: Bronco Bookstore: Textbook Buyback.

Next Buyback Event - Spring Quarter Opening.
Dates & Hours: March 26-March 30, M-Th 8:30am-7:30pm, Friday 8:30am-5pm, and Monday April 2 8:30am-6:30pm.

Location: Bronco Bookstore Atrium.

Daily Buyback:
For the best possible buyback values it’s usually better to wait for our quarter closing buyback events. However, as a convenience for students who cannot wait, Bronco Bookstore does provide daily buyback service - at current wholesale prices - throughout the regular quarter, during regular store hours.
