Bronco Bookstore Textbook Dept. closed 1/31/07 for inventory

Attention Cal Poly Pomona Students:

Bronco Bookstore will be conducting our mid-year textbook inventory next Wednesday, Jan. 31 2007. Although the store will be open, the textbook area upstairs will be closed that day. Please plan ahead and buy any books you haven’t bought yet, but still need, by the 30th. Otherwise it will have to wait until the department opens again on Feb. 1st. Also, any online textbook orders placed after noon on the 30th will not be processed until we reopen on Feb. 1st.

This one-day closure only applies to textbooks. All supplies and general merchandise will be available as usual on the ground floor of the store.

OTHER REMINDERS:

** Starting Feb. 5 we will begin the process of returning unsold texts to our vendors. Winter quarter books may not be available after that date if we don’t need to hold them for use in future quarters. We can re-order for you if it turns out you need a book we’ve already shipped back, but we’d rather avoid that extra expense for us and anxiety for you, and so please pick up whatever books you still need this quarter sooner rather than later.

** We will start accepting pre-orders for Spring textbooks on our store website www.broncobookstore. com on Feb. 16. (Please note: Textbook listings may still be incomplete at that time as some faculty may not have turned in textbook orders.)

** BUYBACK: Winter quarter closing buyback starts March 8 &9 in the bookstore atrium, and March 12-16 at the bookstore atrium, Campus Marketplace, and the Village apartments. We pay up to 50% of the new retail price (regardless of whether the book was originally new or used!) for books we need for future quarters. All other titles bought back at national wholesale prices.

Sincerely,

Suzanne Donnelly
