 |  Open Enrollment Closes Friday Cal Poly Pomona PolyCentric has posted the following: The Health Benefits Open Enrollment Period will close Friday, Oct. 10. Open Enrollment is the period when eligible employees may request enrollments, plan changes, and/or to add eligible family members not currently enrolled. Additionally, this is the period for employees who plan to participate in the Health Care Reimbursement Account and/or the Dependent Care Reimbursement Account programs to enroll/re-enroll for 2009. The IRS requires employees to re-enroll in these two programs annually in order to participate in the next tax year. Even new employees, who just enrolled to participate for the last part of 2008, must re-enroll by the Oct. 10 deadline to participate in 2009.
