MU 310 with Dr. Kopplin

This class IS a history class. Make no mistake about it. Most of the class is focused on the origin of musical technology in the wider sense of the word. SO you look at the use of timing, polyphony, and written music. Then you slowly move onto other things like the Organ, and finnaly to things like Synthesizers and sampling.

Dr. Kopplin is a good proffessor who knows his sh**. Oh ya, he likes to swear on occasion. He has a good sense of humor though and respects his students. I would reccomend this class with him. If you want to learn about new technology, look for his new coarse offerings coming soon.
