Gibbons III & Professor Paul Sommers Required Textbooks: None, read websites that are listed on his homepage Tests: No midterm. Occassional op quizzes. Reaction Papers: There will be 5 papers due, no more than 2 pages each. Each paper worth 25 points. Lowest score paper will be dropped and only 4 papers go into your final grade. Students form a group. On the last two weeks, the group gives a presentation on a topic provided by Dr. Gibbons. Attendance is taken. Grading: 4 Reaction Papers (25 points each): 100 points Group Presentation 25 Attendance and Participation 20 Pop Quizzes ? Total 145 points I hate tosay but the class was extremely boring. I found most of my classmates falling asleep. It could be the after-lunch hour effect. If you need this course for GE requirement, I do recommend this class. Not a difficult class. |
