Ferguson (ECE 302)

I'm taking him right now and his class is pretty brutal. There is so much material and homework to go over, and this guy does not make it easy on you because he picks on and makes fun of people during class. I was wondering if you any of you have taken him before because I want to know how his tests are structured and what his average is like.

Ask around and get his notes from previous quarters. I haven't had 302 yet (waiting for someone other than Ferguson to teach it )

There are so many people who cheat in that class it messes up the curve. If you use notes you can get an A or B, if you work REALLY hard but don't have notes, you can expect a C, maybe a B. Isn't that messed up?

Hate his class. People cheat in that class just to survive. I chose not to cheat on homeworks and test and got a b+. Guy next to me cheats his ass off and got an A .

Why didn't ya report them to the professor or the disciplinary dean of Cal Poly? If you feel like you been cheated on your grade, you shoulda taken action.

Students cheat in college? I would never take a risk since there is a slim chance of getting caught, which means getting expelled off the university. Plus, it gets recorded on your permanent school record, making it difficult or impossible to get accepted to a lot of university in the future.

People who say they don't cheat in this class are either lying or never went to class at all and got an F.

His class is way too hard. His grading is unfair. My friend and I both got a C except he missed most of the HW assignments and came to class only 5 times out of the quarter. He copied my midterms too.
