Dr. Joseph Farrell

I had Dr. Farrell for Spanish 151 for fall quarter. This class was fairly easy for me because I already had three years of Spanish in high school. However, if you have never taken Spanish before, do not worry because he takes time to explain things and sometimes repeats what he said only so that you understand what he's talking about. The class is taught primarily in English, although you do speak spanish when doing the exercises. He follws the textbook page by page. There is no written homework except for the workbook. There are a few quizzes and a comprehensive final. Your grade is determined by 33.3% your final exam, 33.3% your quiz average, and 33.3% your class participation. Overall he is a good a friendly professor who will make learning Spanish easy.
