has anyone taken PHY 121 with Jewett???

I was wondering if anyone has taken PHY 121 with Jewett. If you have... i wanted to know... how are his exams... and what is the best way to get prepared for the exam. I know it's open book/ open note... but is there anything that i can prepare that will help me on the exam????

I've never taken his class...

But he helped write one of the Physics textbooks. If his teaching is anything like how he writes in the text, that would be bad. But like I said, I haven't had him.

Jewett is probably one of the best professors at Cal Poly, hands down. I had him for physics of everyday exp. and he was great. I want to take his acoustic physics class as well. I HIGHLY recommend this guy.

What is wrong with the book? I am reading the book this quarter and have found nothing lacking about it.
