![]() | WTB: parking permit Hello! I am from Western University, Pomona, and am visiting Cal Poly Pomona. I would like to purchase a parking permit for this quarter (March to June). If anyone of you who doesn't need a permit or knows someone who wants to sell, or is carpooling, etc, could you please let me know? I am willing to pay a bit extra to compensate for your trouble. I have been paying $5 everytime I go to the campus, even just for 15 minutes !Please email me. Thank you so much for your help. Corina michnewspapers@yahoo .com |

![]() | Hi! Because they said I have to have a student id to do that, a library card won't do . I have library access because I am a med student from Western but since I don't have a Cal Poly ID, I cannot get a permit directly from the office! I am hoping that some students here are carpooling or live on campus who don't need a permit can sell it to me. Thanks. |

![]() | Well if you really have to buy one, as opposed to paying $5 for a few days, then I advise connecting with someone and asking them to WAIT to purchase one for you until May. They get cheaper as the term goes on. It wont be $90 at that point, but probably about $30. So if you are gonna be here more than 6 days, its worth it |

![]() | Hi SuperMegStar! Great advice. I don't know you can do that. You know, a couple times I went over to Cal Poly, I asked the Parking Service people if I can purchase a permit, they said no. Today, I called again and asked, a lady told me that actually anyone can buy a permit, even without a Cal Poly ID. Man, who should I listen to.... anyways, I am going to call a third time. And then a fourth to ask how the price is going to break down as the term progress....There is light for me. Thanks a bunch again. Love this website , I wish our school has something like that. ![]() | How annoying. I am pretty sure anyone can buy one. I am not sure why CPP would turn down your money ![]() I am pretty sure that as each month goes by, the price goes down $30. So in the beginning, 90 bucks. Then next month, 60 bucks, and the last month, 30 bucks. Glad I could help! Sorry that Cal Poly Pomona is cooler than Western! HA, just kidding, I had a good friend who graduated with her Masters at WU, she loved it. Good Luck! ![]() |
