WT[BORROW]: CIS101 Simnet v3 CD! ( will pay 2 borrow )

OK..

so what happened is i bought the CIS101 pack of books that you need, and it came with the SimNet v3 cds.. and i tried to install it, but it didn't frickn work.. it jus keeps scanning and scanning my cdrw & dvdrw drives.. so i took it to my friends.. and same thing happend to him.. so i emailed the teacher asking what to do ( j.byun ) and he said to return it.. so i tried and bronco book people said no, cause i alrdy opened the package.. blah blah.. so ne waise.. i was wondering if any of you guys would be kind enough to let me borrow your Simnet cd for like 1 night, to burn a copy.. umm.. you can give me a price for borrowing your cd if you'd like.. just gotta be something.. reasonable? <3

Try contacting the textbook publisher by phone or e-mail.
See what they have to say about your situation. They should be helpful.
And act helpless on the phone like you spent over $100!!! and your CD wouldn't work.

..yah that's probably the smart thing to do.. but at the moment i don't
even care about having the original cd.. i just need the cd to use for class!!

so yah.. thnks for input.. but any1 got the cd? <3

I hope you do get a copy of the CD because when I took that class, all I needed was the CD (didn't even get a chance to look inside the textbook) in order to pass the course.
I would love to get you a copy but I can't seem to find the CD. Sorry.

Ask your colleagues in that classroom. Or visit the labs in the CIS building and ask one of the staffs about your situations and take your CD/receipt with you. Might help.

Heck, we could all start renting out textbooks for a small fee. Good idea.
But how do we know if the person will return the textbook after he/she is finished.
