![]() | A Hollywood screenwriter can't come up with better scripts than these epic battles between the Broncos and Coyotes. This episode the Broncos are behind almost the entire game, often down double digits, and somehow these cardiac kids keep coming back up to claw their way back in. Is coach k. toying with the fans or what? it's like he just gets our team to explode just in time to pull out another classic game. We now lead the LA-SB County border war 18-16 after this once again incredible ending. Final score Poly 68, San Bernardino 64. Neon Deon was unreal, the new mr. clutch, inherited from david sybesma. when the money is on the line he is there. Did anybody win any cool prizes tonight? Great crowd, great show! |

![]() | wow.. yeah, what a game!! Both teams played good solid defense.. and somehow Cook saw the basketball rim as a 10 feet pool with his clutch tres... But i do think we can better.. again its the turnovers. If we get better with our ball handling and keep up the solid d.. this team can be unreal. |

![]() | luis pulido had a monster game tonight with 12 points and 6 assists, and he was supposedly sick. he needs to get sick more often. i think he made the difference. he was far more steady than any game prior. cook had 15, baby shaq 14 over that monster former oregon duck center johnson, and forelli hit 4 for 5 from the field and had yet another nice night. broncos shot an incredible 60.5 per cent from the field and, get this, 69.2 per cent from downtown. we hit nine treys. not very often a team will shoot 50 per cent from the field and 87 per cent from the line and still lose. but we just did better than that, and that 'yote defense was incredible. they are big, strong and very athletic. we had to bring our A game tonight===and we did. bring on sonoma. i can hardly wait for friday. |

![]() | It was typical Cal poly pomona San Bernardino game. That was a great crowd at the game. I will like to give props to the sports markting class. They did a great job with the shirts and the prizes. I had fun helping them sell the game to the rest of the student. I doubt we broke the regular season record it was a great crowd for a Monday night after Thanksgiving. The student section did a great job making alot of noise and of course was in the first row help leading the charge. The game is another classic San Bernardino vs Pomona game. The game went back and forth like it typically does. Deon had a great second half. He was the one who help led the Broncos comeback. He did a great job scoring and getting his teamate involved. Its hard to remember how the rest of the team, but I know Billy, Luis, and Larry made some big trees in the 2nd half. Of course the refs almost screwed us again but the team overcame it and secured a victory. Oh yeah I won tickets to the Aquariam of the Pacific which I gave to my sister, cal poy pomona basketball, shirt, and sweater which I will be wearing tommorrow. |

![]() | Great game, I sat next to Mr Bias Our prize pg recruit's dad sat next to me, he was very cool, it was loud but still we had a good talk about his son, listen to this fellow broncos, straight from his dad they chose cal poly over 4. Vanguard $30k a year tuition. full ride 3.W ILL (LOW-D1) 2. UCI yes pat douglas wanted him MID-DI. Go broncos 1. Broncos. According to his dad his kid has great quickness and looks to pass first, what I like is his size, I saw him on the becnch, stocky build, looks strong. Of course he needs to work on his shot. But his best strength is what we are missing most, someone that can take the ball to the hole. -THoughts on the game what are great enviroment, great job bronco krazies, I've been a fan for 11 years and when i first started to go pack the gym night got 900 fans . We got a bunch of big guys but the guard play wasaverage, pg again the weakness. Luis is our only true pg until bias gets a chance. I love billy but once again he shown he can't play the point. Luis needs to be more agressive offensively. Luis can't play 36 minutes every game he will need someone to play for him 5-10 minutes a game. Maybe bias gets in friday. -Ivan Johnson looks like a malcontent- wasnt surprise he got the "boot" from Ernie Kent -Oregon ducks- but he almost killed us the final couple of minutes -he was a beast down low. He's got some skillz. -Lastly does anybody know about bookers status? redshirt? great job broncos, lets pack the gym for sonoma. chris |

![]() | chris, is mr. bias the guy who plays on the retro band earth wind and fire? i heard one of the dads is a old time rocker and who is who yet. did not know rashad was prime time for irvine, and western illinois is mid major, not low. so props to coach k. for another great find. also some props to baby shaq. he held that gorilla johnson in check and forced him into four early fours and lots of time on the bench, allowing us to get back in the game. and KD is the sweetest foul shooter of any big man i have seen lately. donelle is sick. he and rashad not redshirting, but that big 6-8 german center is. great game, great crowd, great start to many outstanding games this year in kellogg gym. |

![]() | Reply Luis had a good game to SILENCE all his critics out there! He is a pass first type of pg but is very agressive when he needs to be. He is a tough nosed defensive player and will not back down from any pg in the CCAA. The team will turn the corner once they figure out what they're doing on defense. Until then all games will be close. Jay I didnt see you complementing Pulido on his game on Monday??? |

![]() | you might have noticed in my post i complemented the TEAM for the game monday night. and yes, luis abandoned his dribble (not pass) first approach to the contest and cranked his game up another notch in what may be his best performance ever for a four year school. we certainly will need him for this huge weekend, so as xiaoxue said if he was sick here's hoping he stays that way through the weekend if it brings us a sweep. if luis continues at monday's outstanding level and donelle returns with that 5 for 5 showing against UCLA still fresh and baby shaq keeps doing his thing as he did monday, we will be extremely tough to beat on our home floor. i agree that we want to put sonoma away early to rest up for the certain no holds barred war with conference favorite humboldt saturday. as i recall they are ranked fifth in the nation in one poll and remain undefeated. by the way, check out www.goccaa.org for the poll on who will win the conference. unlike our poll which shows the broncos winning the vote among everybody has the lumberjacks running away with it. |
