Which should I go to? + more questions :P

My average GPA is around 3.86 and my sat scores were 1030, can i get in with that? And which one should i go into? I'm planning on going into architecture, pomona is only 60 miles away from where i live now (santa clarita/valencia (where 6 flags MM is )) and SLO is 300+miles away. I think i'd rather go to pomona but i hear SLO is better for architecture. Is pomona still good? The thought of a isolated environment such as SLO turns me off...i like the city.

How are the dorms, are there any pictures anywhere or the dorms and schools in general? I know i found a few pics of pomona on this site but that's all.

as i recall the admit rate for arch at slo is 6% and pomona 8%. that means REALLY selective. both are world class programs. just depends if you like rural or suburban. great new dorms at pomona, they are suites. but then you need to get in and the odds are against you. but consider an end run through another dept. that works sometimes if you get the grades when you get on campus. good luck!

I lived in the dorms during my term at Cal Poly Pomona. I liked the brick-building dorms (Montecito was my "home") and I hated the stucco ones. I can't recall the name now but I stayed in one of the non-brick buildings one summer and didn't like it. I think they're older and they have a funky shape to the rooms.

They have new suites on campus now? Sweet! Heh, pun intended.
