Hey Lakdod, thats a pretty low attendance you predicted but hopefully there will be more people than 200..

There will probally be no podcast for the game.
I am predicitng that low of a turnout because I remember we had a game against seattle pacific and Western Washington last year during the Christmas break and we had a less than 600 for both games combined. I think the attendance will probally be between 200-300. The only reason why it will be that low is because they will probally be only 50 students at the game since school is on break.

I will be at the game tommorrow and hopefully more people will join me.

you'll probably need to go to kellogg gym. students help with the stats table and some are probably home on break by now.

this is coach k's only non-conference patsy game. even big west dormat riverside whupped this team by 25 so lakdod should be right. vanguard is 2-6 with a lineup of slightly athletic white guys who could not get DII scholarships.

but that said, we have a way of playing down to competition particularly when the barn is almost empty. say broncos by fifteen unless dion and larry went to vegas early.

The Broncos defeat Vanguard 77-69. Larry Gordon with another big game with 22 pts follow by Cook with 16 pts. The Broncos should of won that game by at least 20. It seem like the Broncos control the game from the tip of the game. The problem I saw with the game was that defense gave Vanguard alot of open 3 point shot which they drained in the second half. Also I got to say Donnelle made one of the best blocks I have ever seen in person. He was able to block the shot on a fast break, and he controlled it to himself by using the backboard.

Next week is a big week they play two potential tournament contenders in Central Washington and Western Washington in Vegas. Does anybody know where the two games will be played at? I might be in Vegas during the time of the tournament.

vegas tourney probably at thomas and mac?

thats my gues lak, i was at the game, attendence was ok considering
its break time. larry is really starting to gain confidence, he can score 25 pts every game if gets aggresive. donelle can jump. i was dissapointed that rashad did not get into the game. this was a perfect time -even jimmy got in.
but coach k does have 700% winning percentage so he knows whats up-
central washington will be tough and w wash will be looking for revenge- we need a split. hopefully the boys will be pumped up for vegas!

props to you guys for being loyal bronco fans. yeah, donelle and larry really know how to bang...they combined for 17 boards and neither are true big men, just very athletic medium sized ones.

agree on 'shad and wonder if coach might just sit him this year as redshirt?

we wish broncos were at thomas and mack...heck the mighty national championship rebel program doesn't always play there anymore. they're probably having some gizmo or porn movie convention there while our guys play on the small stage up there. we usually don't do this tourney but jeff oliver and the 'yotes usually do. am thinking we will be scouting each other for the huge rematch, and you could once again be looking at conference co-champions.

and why this split talk? we can beat both of those clubs, and this time it's not in washington. if we sweep we head back into conference at 7-1 with the two softest teams up first. 9-1 and 5-0 and our best start in decades could be there as we return home.

laker/dodger don't forget your credit card and your krazee shirt if you make the vegas trip.

Coyotes Score Huge Upset Tonight

the only team to beat our broncos this year, #4-ranked seattle pacific, just got blown out tonight by san bernardino, 86-66.

this year could once again go down to the wire between the broncos and coyotes, even into the playoffs.

just found out that the Great Western Shootout will be hosted at Valley High School in Vegas.
Admission are $8 for adults and $6 for seniors and students.

The game against WWU might be broadcast on WWU's website. Not sure if its also pod cast on cal poly's site.

maybe somebody can explain why humboldt state is still listed higher in the national rankings than we are? they have 17 votes in the NABC poll and we have 11 even though we are 3-0 in conference and they are 0-2.

duh.

The only two explanation I have is that they were ranked 13 the week before they lost two games, and they just drop them out of the top 25. My second and probally most logicall one is the East coast coaches do not pay attention to the teams in the West Coast. They just vote by pre season hype. I do not care about these ranking the only thing I care about is the regional rankings whenever they come out. If the regional rankings came out today we will be ahead of Humbolt, and probally San Bernardino will also be ahead of Humbolt in the regional rankings.

Thumbs up only thing that matters is.......

Regional Poll: I think we have a chance to host the tournament for the
first time in bronco history. the gnac is down this year so i think it comes down to us and the hated coyotes. coach k said in the daily bulletin yesterday, "broncos have not played a complete game" that is pretty scary,
we are #1 in ccaa without playing our best ball, i agree, i have been to all the home games this team will get even better come January. to me billy has to play better. the lack of athleticisim really hurts his game.

Go broncos

There will be a podcast for both the women and mens game in vegas on cal poly site. PL28 thanks for the info on the price of tickets. I am hoping to go to both of the games since I can not gamble in vegas yet.
