A very disappointing lost against Monterey

This a very dissappointing loss for the Broncos. The Broncos men did not look like there normal self. It makes me wonder did the 16 day layoff hurt the Broncos. You got to give credit to Monterey for the way they played it seem like they shot a high percentage and played good defense against us. Coach K better get this team ready for the rest of the season because it is only going to get harder here on out.

this is rather typical of bronco teams, even the best ones. we very, very rarely blow anybody out and keep winning close games. as a result we allow weaker teams the chance to catch us, and this happened against the otters. it's amazing how we beat powerhouse programs like bakersfield on the road but lose to so-so ones like monterey.

bakersfield also lost at chico, so there now is a three way tie at the top among the broncos, coyotes (who won for the eighth straight in SF), and runners.

and don't forget humboldt is 9-2 and still in the mix, too.

Dion's worst outing of the year...he even did better outmatched against UCLA.
poorest shooting from long range of the year, barely 25 per cent.
tiniest crowd, announced at 220.
as announced on the otter web site, this was the greatest victory in the history of CSUMB sports, against the highest ranked team.

but now that we have hit the bottom, let's go on a run. we always seem to handle the gators but always have trouble with the otters, which is still in transition from DIII.

and ONCE AGAIN there was a story in the local papers about san bern and NOTHING about our game. how can the coyotes manage ink in monterey while we get none in SF and then on the next night the coyotes get a piece in SF and we get none in monterey?

think we just need to continue playing hard and try to win games and hopefully, they'll see that we are a good team and deserves to be recognized

That's Baloney, PL28...JB is RIGHT ON.

Isn't it RIDICULOUS that a Top Fifteen Team gets no newspaper coverage game after game when a lower ranked team does?

PLAYING HARD is not a solution...we should demand answers from the paper!

Nothing again today in this paper...it's as if the Broncos were idle all weekend long while the Coyotes played two games. Why?
