![]() | hey, you were wrong, jaybutt...our mighty baseball team actually won a game over the weekend (although they were outscored 45-16)...but they still are in the hunt for dead last in the league. if they can do as well in their final conference series with the otters and the gators crawl into a split, well hey, we did it! and no wonder, when you have FIVE pitchers who have ERAs that allow at least one earned run per inning you must be exciting the fans--of the other team, that is. |

![]() | Broncos swept by CSUMB the horror just keeps coming, bronco fans. this week our mighty men got shelled all weekend long, outscored 48-17, en route to going oh for four to a school still in transition from DIII, the CSUMB oters. this must rank as one of the worst bronco baseball teams of all time. we close league play at 10-26 and now await the results of whether we finish last or merely ninth of ten teams. even the coaches poll said we would do no worse than sixth. a three time national champion program and you guys don't have a problem with this? |

![]() | Okay xiaxoue I hear you. I really have not been following about the baseball team. We all know there not having a good year. You do not have to continue mentioning how bad they are. I just do not want to read it right now. Thank God the season is almost over. One for the sanity of this board and two basketball season is getting closer each day. |

this being the worst team of all time. it probably won't comfort you to know that the current head coach has had two clubs with poorer records already, the 13-40-1 team and the 15-39 one. with one nonconference series remaining the worst this team can do is 17-35. but statistically this could be the weakest pitching staff in bronco history. there is only one pitcher out of an entire staff of thirteen with at least two mound appearances with an earned run average below 5.96. what this means is that the other team is teeing off on everybody other than jarrett attard. and seven of the twelve in this group is allowing at least one earned run per inning, which of course is not counting the many unearned runs allowed by a weak defense. while our hitting is merely mediocre it's pitching that wins games. and we have one guy. we all should go to scolinos field and support him in his last appearance of the year this weekend. let's close out a bad year on a good note, and as lakdod says look forward to another run in men's basketball. ![]() | |
