![]() | How many units I'm going to be an incoming freshman to CPP for Fall 2005 and will be taking 4 classes which would equal 14 units for myself. Two core classes i was advised to take my first quarter and two other GE courses. Am I on the right track?? |

| GCP.com Admin | Like the previous post, it all depends on how much you work. 14 units, first quarter, no work, medium diligent student you should okay. I did 16 units, worked 24 hours a week, and walked away with a 3.0 GPA my first quarter. Whats your major? Sciences will be more challenging and require studying if you don't have a firm foundation, and english/history/etc will require tons of time to read and write papers and essays. Eh... I'm talking so much i'm not helping! SURE! Try 14 units, you have 3 weeks to figure out if you can handle it before your GPA is affected. |
