thank god the streak is over with the Broncos beating Monterey. what a different a night make for Angelo. after shooting like crap agaisnt San Fran he could not miss a shot against Monterey. he scored 27 points and shot 7 from 10 from 3 point range making four of them in the final five minutes which include one long three from way pass the college and NBA three line. Larry Gordon had his typical double double game having 16 pts and ten rebounds and my opinon played some good defense in the game especially at times he guarded the point guards on many switch. The KD we expected show glimse of revial by scoring 10 points. He was dominating enough where he was double and triple team at times when he got the ball in the post. a big welcome back to Donelle who miss yesterday game. he gave the broncos 10 points off the bench. the Broncos missed his game against San fran and in my opinion if he played in that game the broncos would of won. Tobias had another solid game and i see the improvement from last year. I was afraid that we might be in trouble with lack of bigs, but i think the Broncos will be find if tobias continues to develop.

the broncos look like for the first time this year they played good team basketball. there pass were crisp and they found the open man and mismatch. It did not hurt that Kaleen was a force downlow where they double team leaving Angelo open for threes. how stupid are Monterey you leave the best shooter on the oposing team open when you play a zone especially since he have range way past NBA range. the negatives they let the Monterey back into the game after being up 14 in the second half. they can not let their defense take a break on defense for a couple of minutues because if they do most teams would just come roaring back.

Key for the rest of the season.
continue to work on the inside outside game. If Kaleen could be a force like he was at times last season it will give open 3 pt shot for Angelo, LG, Rich, DB, and Watters. Second play defense for the enitre game. If the team play defense for all 40 mintues they win more games by double digits. third and finally which will probally be the key for the season is to stay healthy. As we can see the Broncos are already thin and the lack availabity of Booker against San fran show if the Broncos do not stay healthy it might be a long season. Hopefully this is the first game of many victories this year and just maybe this year this team will peak at the end of the season just in time for the tournament.

i hope they qualify, lakdod, but many miles to go for that to happen. better to start slow and close strong, of course, since critical regional rankings don't appear for many weeks.
