Sororities @ CPP

Are there any sororities @ CPP? If they are can you give me some information on the lot of them. Including any suggestions on which ones are the ones to be in. Thanks so much for the help.

Here is a list of all the clubs, fraternities, and sororities at Cal Poly Pomona. Sorry the list is so long but I couldn't limit it to sororities only. Anyway, I hope this will help you. Go to this website:http://www.csupomona.edu/directories/osl/index.php. I do know that the sororities recruit during spring and fall quarter. Many of their tables can be found in the quad next to the marketplace.

chi omega, kappa delta, zeta tau alpha, and a couple other that i forget, and then there are local or ethnic ones. for example, since we have so many asian students there is an all asian sorority, and i think there are two african sororities as i remember.

Just remember, there are no sorority houses for women. This is what one admin. told me:
“So you know, Greek fraternities do not like the term "frat." Fraternities houses are located throughout the Pomona area. Sororities do not have houses. A law in Pomona does not allow for a house of woman to exist. The sororities are very active and if you decide to pledge, you will learn more about the Greek life when you arrive on campus your first week.”

The four major ones which are nationally accredited are: Zeta Tau Alpha, Chi Omega, Kappa Delta, & Simga Kappa. You can join at the beginning of every quarter, yet I believe the major push is in the fall.

All of them.... None of them... I wouldn't know. I was never involved with sororities. Besides even if I was, I would be too busy checking out the guys in the frats.
