Road Closures/Bronco Express Impacts July 19-29 (E-Mail)

TEMPORARY CLOSURE - RED GUM LANE AND VOORHIS PARK LOOP
TUESDAY, JULY 19 – FRIDAY, JULY 29

Beginning Tuesday, July 19, and continuing through Friday, July 29, Red Gum Lane will be closed to through traffic, and the loop around Voorhis Park will be completely closed to conduct the third and final phase of trenching to install electrical and telecommunication lines to the Parking Structure I construction site.

If entering Red Gum Lane from Kellogg Drive, access will remain into parking lots C, D, and F8. The closure will occur immediately after these parking lot entrances off Red Gum.

If entering Red Gum Lane from University Drive, access will remain to Police and Parking Services (Bldg. 94), as well as parking lots F2 and F4. The closure will occur immediately after these parking lot entrances off Red Gum.

BRONCO EXPRESS IMPACTS:
Only Route A operates during the summer. Due to the above road closures, two Bronco Express stops will be closed from July 19 through July 29. These include the stops at Police and Parking Services (Bldg. 94) and the stop in front of CLA (Bldg. 98). Passengers looking to go to the University Village or other parts of the campus should go to the nearest stop, which is located in Parking Lot D, adjacent to the University Library and University Plaza.

PARKING LOT C UPDATE:
The second phase of trenching in Lot C, with approximately 50 spaces closed off since July 5, will be complete and reopen with the start of business on Tuesday, July 19.

To assist you with locating these areas of impact, a campus map can be found at:

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we continue to bring utilities to the construction site throughout the summer. These activities were intentionally scheduled during the summer to minimize the impact to the campus community. If you have any questions about the Parking Structure I project, please contact Adele Vanarsdale, Senior Project Manager, at x4794 or asvanarsdale@csupomo na.edu.
