Registration Prority

I was wondering how does cal poly give who first priority in registration and the dates and times....my pre registration is august 3 thats like the last day or something for pre registration which totally suck cuz i wont get the class i want like Eng 105...they offer so less Eng105 this fall only 9 class

Also i'm wondering since broncodirect have the wait list wen u enroll for a class.....does that work??? i was checking schedule of classes i havent seen anyone on the wait list so i dont noe if its allow? thanks

It's by social security number...CPP divides students into 3 groups...each of the groups rotate in the priority you get...for example...if you have 3rd priority in the fall...you'll have 1st priority in the Winter...2nd priority in the Spring...etc...

My appt. is on August 2nd...anyone have an appt. before that?? Please share...

Registration starts on July 26. I have mine on July 28. Though I'm a senior, I doubt I'll be of any trouble for any of you guys who are trying to get into the lower-division courses. Upper-division courses are harder to get because they come less often. But then again, I'm a Communication major, so it doesn't really matter that much.

I'm also August 2nd...

Regarding BroncoDirect: sometimes when i click on any of the links on the LEFT menu, the page doesn't show up... just blank.

While a quick refresh usually fixes the bug, is anyone else experiencing this?

That's wrong, there is no rotation.

BroncoDirect sucks..what you expect

This is how priority works (somebody correct me if I am mistaken)
1. Sport players, RA's and I guess student staff or something
2. Seniors (not exceding certain amount of units)
3. Juniors
4. Sophomores
5. Seniors ( who have exceded the certain amount of units from 1.)
6. Incoming freshmen

I am gonna register on august 2, there is something weird, there are like three dudes that have the same registration day.

About the blank page in broncodirect, the content appears if you wait for good 5 seconds or so. Or click refresh on your browser as ak mentioned.

and I don't have a catalog of classes!

This can't be right. Freshmen can't be at the end of the list. From what I understand, they're first, if not second, in line. Kinda like this:

1. Athletes, RAs, ASI people, SHS people
2. Incoming freshman who attend orientation
2.5 Seniors with grad check.
3. Rotation list 1 which is people with SS# that end in 0000-3330
4. Rotation list 2, SS# 3331-6660
5. Rotation list 3, SS# 6661-9990
6. Suckers!

Nope

Enrollment Appointments
Students pre-register for classes based on their enrollment appointment and their class level:

First Group: Graduate and Credential students.
Second Group: Near graduation senior who has earned between 170 - 269.9 units.

Priority for all other students is based on their units earned and class level:

Third Group: 135 -169.9 Seniors
Fourth Group: 90 - 134.9 Juniors
Fifth Group: 45- 89.9 Sophomores
Sixth Group: 0 - 44.9 Freshman
Seventh Group: Students with excess units: 270 units or more units effective Summer and Fall 2004; 230 or more units (beginning Winter 2005).

Have they changed the priority system to something else? The thing I posted maybe too old, but still relevant

I know the numbers reflect previous quarters, but it shows how does cal poly give who first priority in registration and the dates and times, as zzcynzz asked.
