Question about buying books

Not sure if this question belongs in this part of the forum. Well, I'm planning to buy my books before school starts so I don't have go through the hassle of waiting in the long line in the Bronco Bookstore during the first week of class. The problem is when I search for the textbook I want (EC 408 Sutton and FRL 301) on the Bronco Bookstore website, the search ends up with multiple versions of the same book. One with a CD, one with Randy Notes, etc. Which book do I need to buy? Anyone one have any ideas? Thanks!

By the way, I really don't want to e-mail any of the professors.

I would wait till I get the syllabus from the professors then get the books. Less chance of getting the wrong book plus it would be more hassle if you did get the wrong book and try to return it. Waiting in line doesn't take that long anyway. 15 minutes max.

The online bookstore usually lists the up to date textbook that the professor will be using. If not, what is the bookstore going to do with the textbook in the shelves.

True. But it never hurts to buy your textbook after you receive your syllabus. Also be sure to sell your old textbooks in the online bookstore. Thanks.
