![]() | We had an entire discussion on this before: http://www.calpolyonline.com/forums/...ead.php?t=2044 I'll just put this bluntly: Many other schools teach students only to think (and most of the time, very little actual doing). That may work for liberal arts/humanities majors, but for the most part, is depriving students of real-world experiences. If all you do is bookreading, you may end up like some electrical engineering grads who don't know what a transistor looks like or don't know about the electricity that comes out of a wall socket. |
