Pizza with the Cal Poly Pomona President (Email)

Greetings…
Cal Poly Pomona President J. Michael Ortiz and ASI President Jason Dyogi cordially invite you to attend a key student event scheduled for this week. Lunch with the Presidents allows you to share what’s on your mind with Presidents Ortiz and Dyogi along with members of the university cabinet. This one-hour dialogue is designed for you - any topic, any item, any question. We’ll supply the pizza and refreshments.

Set your calendars for Thursday, May 20, from 12-1 pm in the University Quad, just outside the Campus Center Marketplace. So we can make sure that there is enough food, let us know that you’re coming. Please call the public affairs office at
869-3342.

i wont be able 2 make it as there's a Free arcGIS seminar in Anaheim all day that day... so im gonna go check that out instead.

darn... and i was looking 4ward 2 that free piza.

What is arcGIS seminar?

its a topographical map software system that civil engineering majors use. a seminar is like umm... where a bunch of industry ppl hang out to check out some new innovation or something like that.

Will Cal Poly Pomona enforce the smoking clearance regulation? Can the 25 feet be increased?
Is the 980 schedule better than the 410? (No idea what this means

)
Parking fee continue to increase for new freshmen for years to come?
Overloading students unit.
Are we going to see budget spikes (fees going up and down)?
Priority Registration - part time students are being shut out.
CIS classes got closed for this spring quarter right before the registration. What gives? Other department did not get their courses closed.
ASI, for or against the student fee increase? If against, what action will be taken?
Can financial aid be cashed on campus without a fee?
LAUSD does not accept Cal Poly Pomona's teaching credential?
Intro Civil Engineering - 50% of the students fail their course; no tutors set aside - problems with the engineer students or the school?
Math expiration after 3 quarters.
Student working on campus are not taxed.
ASI presidents gets paid. How much?
More info on "Vote of No Confidence" - an opinion on the university senators, still under questions.
What did the current ASI president do for the students during his term?
Bookstore - buy back books a ripoff.
Broncobucks is same as cash. Why can't we use bronco bucks to pay for Graduation Writing Test (GWT) exam fee?
Insecurity of campus internet and intranet? Serious problem?
The action to help the Greek community on campus.

so who went and did anyone answer questions? dam kaycee!! u should have posted this like 2 days ago so we can ask those questions. i didnt show up.

Umm..I did post this on Monday. Thought you had to attend a seminar or something.
Lot of students showed up, had pizza and a drink and lot of questions were asked.
The list I posted above were most of them.
