Partial Parking Lot And Street Closures (E-Mail)

PARTIAL PARKING LOT AND STREET CLOSURES
MONDAY, JUNE 13 – TUESDAY, JULY 5

Beginning Monday, June 13th and continuing through Tuesday, July 5th, two parking lots and a street near CLA will be impacted as utility lines are extended to the Parking Structure I construction site.

PARKING LOT C
The faculty-staff parking lot closest to CLA will have approximately 40 spaces fenced off as we conduct the first phase of trenching to install electrical and telecommunication lines. Accessible and service zone spaces closest to CLA will remain open. Pedestrian detour signs will be posted in the lot to guide people around the construction fence. This first phase of trenching is scheduled to be complete by Wednesday, July 6th.

PARKING LOT F8
The Red Gum Lane entrance to this student parking lot will be fenced off and closed for trenching to extend electrical lines to Kellogg Drive. Alternate entrances to this lot will be available off Oak Lane and detour signs will be posted to guide students. This parking lot is scheduled to reopen by Wednesday, July 6th.

VOORHIS LOOP
On Wednesday, June 15th and Thursday, June 16th, the loop around Voorhis Park will be closed to conduct site surveys for the eventual connection of water lines to the Parking Structure later in the summer. Red Gum Lane will remain open in both directions during this phase.

To assist you with locating these areas of impact, a campus map can be found at: http://www.csupomona.edu/map/campus/campus.shtml

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we continue to bring utilities to the construction site throughout the summer. These activities were intentionally scheduled during the summer to minimize the impact to the campus community. If you have any questions about the Parking Structure I project, please contact Adele Vanarsdale, Senior Project Manager, at x4794 or asvanarsdale@csupomo na.edu.
