From what I've seen, parking is the WORST from 9am-1pm. (Lots J & F)

I'd suggest getting to school at 8:30am at the latest or simply parking in F lot and take the shuttle.

I agree completely with AK, if you've got a passion for bikes I recommend motorcycles though! The parking is about $20 a quarter, so you can save $70 a quarter. There's close parking all over for motorcycles as well! I get to park on the street that touches buildings 1, 8, and 9. Short walk to 4 and 5...

Building 4 is about as far as you can get away from parking lots

Motorcycle does need a parking permit. Much cheaper than an auto.

Do what some people do... Park outside of the village apartments and take the shuttle in. No need to pay for a parking permit!

No way! I might give that a try next quarter depending on the schedule. Isn't it unsafe though to park your car in that area? And what about street-cleaning days.

I believe they do street cleaning late at night. I live on campus, and I have seen shuttles run till midnight. I don't know how many people park outside of the village, but whenever I drive by there in the afternoon, there's always a bunch of cars parked out there on that one street before the railroad tracks, so I figured they're using the shuttles from the Village.

9:30 AM if you park outside like me...maybe a little earlier if you walk slow or your class is far away.

Since we're talking about parking......My classes are in buildings 5 and 8, where should I park? I have an 8:00 a.m. class so I'm hoping to be able to get pretty close.

Campus map:

http://www.csupomona.edu/map/campus/campus.shtml

For buildings 5 and 8, I usually park in J...... but sometimes I park in F and take the shuttle. Why F? Because after class I usually feel too tired to fight my way UP to the J lot. J lot is closer than F from those buildings though.

Building 4: From most preferred to least preferred... J --> M --> F --> L or B --> street
