Pack The Gym!!!

hey everybody come on out and support our Broncos this Friday night!!!

our men just pulled off a HUGE victory over the conference favorites, Bakersfield, Sat nite, 65-54, and look to be on the way to yet another NCAA Dance appearance and possibly another conference title.

lots of free food, games, and fun with the pep band, cheer team, Billy Bronco, JJ Jumper, etc.

also, the game will be televised on cable TV.

the women are down this year. in fact they have a losing record and twice have broken the record for worst loss ever. so they should be hungry.

come on out and cheer the green and gold against chico state!

Thumbs up Yes, Very Important Game

Broncos could move into conference lead with a W Friday night and now they are jelling and playing well together. Despite losing two All Americans and the senior leadership that Jeff (now playing pro ball) and David (now a coach) gave the team the younger guys are stepping up now.

The Dynamic Duo of Neon (BATMAN) Dion and Melvyn (ROBIN) the Franchise is something to behold. Both of these dudes are very flashy, quick, always attacking, slashing forwards. Big K is a MOOSE in the middle, and J-28 provides senior leadership and stabilty. If II can keep his shot selection steady and Billy can drop a few threes, the Boys should rule. The main concern is foul shooting. They cannot seem to locate the basket.

On the ladies side, the five time national champions are in a funk.

DeJa is showing signs and the Perk can jerk, but....

very rare to see the ladies with a losing record.

That said, they are HUNGRY.

Chico State is well noted for being downtown teams. They rain threes.

Should be an entertaining night!

Is Pack The Gym the biggest basketball event of the year? If so, I might check it out for the first time. If I get there by 7:30 sharp, are good seats still available?

You will have no problem getting a seat if you get there at 7:30. I personally think all of the seats at the gym are great. It will be easy to see all of the action of the game. If you want to be in the first 5 rows you might want to come earlier. The Gym will be big enough for anybody to come unless we get like 3000 people in the gym for the game.

the best seats in the student section where the crazy greenies sit are gone by around seven. they set a single game record last year with just under 2,000 as i recall. technically the gym seats 5,000 but the upper deck seats have been changed into a fitness center so it looks like around 3,500 is as packed as you can get.

hey, we have over 20,000 students. 2,000 is only TEN per cent of the student body! see ya there!
