Must take CHM 121 with 121L in one quarter?

About to register for Chemistry 121 and 121L when I noticed that the two course has a time conflict. Is it alright if I take 121 for summer quarter and complete 121L during the fall quarter?
Or should I stick the two class in one quarter because the classes complements each other?

No, you need take both at same time. It's a requirement.

i have seen ppl get away w/ taking them at different times, but just becareful that the department or any professor catches u, cuz they do have the option of either failing u, or "administrativel y dropping" you. I ultimately will tell you WHATEVER WORX BEST IN UR FAVOR, but yeah, YOU CAN take one w/o the other... just watch out. It IS highly recommended u take both @ once, cuz ya, they do compliment each other.
