Exclamation Morgue Rumor on campus

Has anyone heard about the rumor about a morgue that once existed in the science building?

I'm trying to figure out where this was at. I heard from a couple of people that this is true. I even tried to talk to the professor that was in charge of the morgue, but he was very reluctant to speak to me.

If you know anything, or know anyone who might know something, please email me at ketcham82@yahoo.com or send me a private message or post it on this message board.

Thank you very much.

We have Pre-Vet and Pre-Med students on-campus, it's not too unrealistic to say it existed. I mean, we have a slaughterhouse on-campus...

I don't think there is a morgue on campus, but there might be smaller animal body storage facilities with organic carcasses in them. I am pretty certain there won't be human body storage units, since building 8 is pretty filled and building 3 is too small. I am not too sure about the biotech building though.

It takes lots of cooling to sustain a morgue (or the bodies decompose), and that is one thing I am pretty sure the cash-straped CSU cannot afford.

Do pre-med students work with cadavers yet? Or do they not work on actual human bodies until they reach med school? Most movies I've seen where students work on cadavers is med school, but I don't know how accurate that is.

I'm not allegating that there is a morgue. But it is a fact that there used to be one in Building 3, or the science building, somewhere in the lower level. Since the building went through decades of remodeling, it is hard to trace or locate where the "refrigerator" used to be. And yes, anatomy students used to dissect real human bodies from people who donated them to the school. This stopped for some reason, apparently legal reasons, and thus they eliminated the morgue.

Maybe it's in that bunker-type building between building 3 and the ag building (think the ag building is building 4). The bunker is just down the stairs from the ag building or greenhouse. I've always imagined walking in there and finding all sorts of RPG's, machine guns, and assault rifles, plus mines, etc.

Actually, that building is used for animal testing. That's why there aren't any windows and it's always closed behind that heavy metal security door. They have controlled environments where they test rats, rabbits and I think some humans... ha! J/k about the humans part. But they really do experiments on rats and rabbits.
