![]() | It was a great comeback by the team especailly in the second half. The first half was the second worst referee half I have ever seen behind the 2nd half of the 1st game between the Broncos and Coyotes. My voice started to hurt from bascially screaming at the refs for most of the game. Good news is that Fairbanks lost to Anchorage. The really bad news Humbolt beat Central and Bak, Sonoma,Seattle won |

![]() | This should put Broncos in Top Ten Quote:
here is a peek at the playoff picture now: 1. SEATTLE PACIFIC (12-4, 20-5) should fall to number 2 2. WESTERN WASHINGTON (13-3, 21-4) moves up to first 3. BAKERSFIELD (14-4, 19-6) hangs in at three 4. SONOMA (14-4, 16-8) is a shaky four 5. C WASHINGTON (9-7, 14-11) will fall back after upset tonight 6. CHAMINADE (7-3, 16-8) plays later tonight in islands 7. UA ANCHORAGE (9-7, 18-10) could move to five 8. HUMBOLDT (9-7, 15-9) upset CWU, will move up 9. UA FAIRBANKS (8-8, 15-10) should fall out of top ten after loss 10. SEATTLE (8-8, 15-10) will move up to nine BRONCOS (12-6, 16-9) move into tenth slot in region this week the reason our men are not ahead of those teams with weaker records is because our league lost most its games with the GNAC so our strength of schedule is holding us back. the Humboldt upset of CWash particularly hurt us.

![]() | Jay and xiaoxue what do you guys think if the Broncos are not in the top ten this week do you think they are bascially out of tournament contention. I think that if they are not in the top 10 this week they might need to be co CCAA champs to get in and get the automatic bid. Another question what happens if Bakersfield and Sonoma falls apart and loses there last two how do they decide who gets the atomatic bid between Bakersfield, Sonoma, and Pomona? |

as for the CCAA we would hold the tiebreaker with bake since we swept them. not sure about the split with sonoma and how that works out. it would be a long shot that both conference leaders would lose twice on the road while we sweep but possible. if that happens we could be a four or five seed! i see a HUGE home victory wed nite but am worried about that roadie sat with monterey. they are tough in the kelp bed.

also, you seem to be ignoring perhaps an even bigger game for the eight seed, seattle at humboldt. we really need a lumberjack win there badly. that would place seattle at no better than 9-9 and 16-11 overall versus what we hope will be 14-6 and 18-9. that should be enough to put us ahead of them along with the nanooks and wildcats. bottom line is that we need to jump ahead of three GNAC programs (UAF, CWU and Seattle) by next Sunday when the seedings are televised on ESPN.

![]() | I agree with you guys it will be hard not to put the Broncos in the Top 10. I am still wondering why this team was not ranked in the top 10 after defating both Bakersfield and Sonoma in back to back week. I think they will be ranked 10, Seattle 9 and Central Washington 8. The lost by Central Washington to Humbolt is not that bad xiaoxue it will not drop a team 5 spot. That means the C Washington trip to the Alaska school might decide the faith of the Broncos if of course the Broncos win out. |

that's the site where ALL college roundball is compared via a computer system. last year our Broncos, when they were 24-6 going into the Elite Eight, were rated higher than THREE entire DI conferences and ahead of a couple of Big Ten, Pac Ten and Big 12 schools. this year our score right now is 574.2 which once again is well ahead of DI schools like UCR (538), one entire DI conference, and is virtually dead even with CP SLO at 575.8--and our Mustang brothers are in third place in the DI Big West Conference. check it out...good stuff! ![]()

![]() | I hope those rankings are not a indication of how the polls are going to be this Wed because according to him we are T11 best team in the region 4 pt behind Sonoma for the 10th spot. At least we are one of the top 64 teams in DIV II according to him. |

![]() | rankings are coming out today so hang on...we better be there on that list! Broncos win by twenty tonite and watch for KD (AKA "Baby Shaq") to lite it up! JBoyd will have another solid game and Hot Dog II will show off some more..... that puts our men at 17-9, 13-6 in league, which is better than almost all of those GNAC schools. |

![]() | here's a preview of tonight's game Quote:
the toros have plenty of scorers, led by mario malave, who lit it up for 22 points in our first game with them. they also have the conference leader in blocked shots in trevon bryant, who is a big man who doesn't score much. what we must do is limit their shooting, which is almost 50 per cent per game. i think both hervey and j-31 boyd will have very big evenings. malone has been beat up a bit on this board, but this is a scrappy and smart player who surely wants to leave this program in style. and he will be ably supported by our quiet warrior, boyd, who is as classy a player as we've ever had. jeff daniels in today's newspaper said these two guys characterize the turnaround of this program, which has had its greatest run in program history. hervey and jonathan will be the only players to dance in all four years with a sweep and a little bit of help up north. stay tuned...the rankings are due out later today! ![]()
