LP3K Lanparty In Pomona! Saturday Nov. 6th @ 7PM

Hello everybody,

Similiar to my last thread http://www.calpolyonline.co m/forums/showthread.php?t=126 9 a few months ago, i will be throwing a lanparty this weekend. All Friendly Cal Poly Gamers are invited! One new cal polyer came last time and loved it, hopefully ology777 varies this

During this lanparty a decent gaming computer will be needed because we play a lot of the latest games, proposed this lanparty is:
-Starwars Battlefront
-Warcraft III (tower defense)
-Farcry Assault
-UT2004

-Maybe World-Of-Warcraft Stresstest Open Beta if it's open and free.

The party starts about 7PM on Saturday Night, about 2 miles off campus in an apartment. About 7-10 people will be there. We'll be serving pizza/donuts/hotdogs/such so $7 food fee will be required to cover that, we normally go play through the morning, sometimes as long as till noon the next day. There will be space to crash if you want to take a nap.

We might have a few tournaments, but we focus on fun co-op game play for the most part. Let me know if you want to come or have any questions! PM me for more details and the like! I'll provide rides for people within 5 miles of campus if need-be.

www.lp3k.com for more info on our group.

hey panda... see if you want to talk to anybody from LANHAT. They are based I think in Buena Park, and they usually have a good showing (i don't remember if it was like 35, or 50 ppl). I'd LOVE to go, but I dont have ANY of these games.

Also... do these games need to be "retail" bought?... because the version's that the internet can offer me I dont know if they need a valid cd key.

Hmm... you mean, http://www.hatlan.com/ ? It does seem like an interesting place, perhaps I should attend some of their parties sometime... on their front page they're talking about 50 year old birthday parties though, so the crowd may be a lot older. Everyone that comes to mine is ~College Aged, not that it matters much, but it's a little more social.

Let the Good Times Roll.

yeah Newegg had a pretty cool one I would have went to had I known about it. Their signup fee was a little harsh too... over $20 i thought?

Clear your private messages JPW, or i'll try to catch you on AIM sometime.
