losing to a 4-17 team at home?

this is the first time i ever left a bronco game at halftime.

a new low, bronco fans. our team was just standing around for most of the first half, waiting for somebody else to do something. even a terrible scott peterson state college team could prevail on a night like this one. and so they did. it's one thing to lose but battling all the way. it's another to dial it in.

i saw lakdod leave even before halftime, but then returned to state, "this team stinks."

yeah, no kidding.

no stats of course since the bronco web site never lists anything until almost midnight.

any takers on the broncos running the table now? that's what they would need to do.
and no excitement since the x man did not show up for a joust with any of us.

i got to admit that was the most pathetic performence I have ever seen the Broncos play. It look like they did not want it except for Gordon. IN the second half it was the Larry gordon show and bascially almost will his team to victory. All i got to say if we lose tonight I will not make the trip to SB as planned on thursday. eventhough i saw this pathetic performence I still have some hope that Coach K fires up the team if make the ccaa tournament and make a late push.

well, the broncos awakened from their slumber saturday night, winning big.

but now they must run the table and take down the top two teams in the league in the next two games.

no details on the game once again. every story and box score is posted online other than ours. we once were the leader in sports information with the DIII upstart otters the worst but now we've traded places. the conference office must wonder what is going on in pomona.

where are the homers bronco and hall when the broncos stink up the place as lakdod and jay mention? maybe at titan gym wearing orange and watching a winning team?

man, sounds like the team is falling apart. i check the web site and the pack the gym attendance is only 308?

where did the fans go? when i was a student we had crowds of 1,500 or more for those pack nights.

but the x-man is happy. he cleans up on the craps tables and with his chick.

what we care about is bronco sports, and they are really hurting right now. i nearly broke my ankle on one of the cracked bleachers that is now fifty years old, reminiscent of when i nearly fell through the now banned bleachers in our old football stadium. the facilities are getting so bad they are hurting our teams, and even great coaching cannot overcome some of these things. i guess it will take a huge lawsuit in order to awaken our sleepy university that ncaa sports are not getting supported properly.

but you make a perfectly valid point. having only 308 show up for a bring back the pack night is embarrassing. but not as bad as the team that did not show up friday.

huge props to the beast, though. he went 21-13 saturday in yet another monster performance. just get the ball to larry for the rest of the season and help him win POY.

can the broncos pull two more huge upsets to stay alive? who says so?

do you mean three upset. I say yes. I mean the coyotes did lose to Chico the worst team in the conference at home on friday. I guess this week you can call upset wekeend in the CCAA also UCSD losing at home to Dominguez. Anyways its san bernardino thursday, i do not know why but the broncos always give the coyotes a tough games and if SB is not playing some good ball right now. I can see them sneaking away with a victory. UCSD on saturday is senior night and I just have a feeling that this game is either going to be Angelo best game or his worst game of the season depending how he play will determine the outcome. the final road trip will be tough going up north where the Broncos had no sucess the last couple of years. sonoma is another bottom team and maybe to pull a victory there, but humboldt is tough at home and i doubt on senior night Humboldt will want to lose.

For me the indication on this team will do is going to be thursday at SB. If they play well i can see them finishing 3-1. If they play bad it could be either a 0-4 or 1-3 ending. I think if the broncos win two games they will get in the CCAA tournament where anything can happen.

i wear orange for the 2008 big west champion titan (10-3, 17-7) games and green for the up and down broncos.

i think you are right, lakdod. either the broncos surge into the playoffs or they flop big time. i say they flop. too many problems on this team.

and even though hall has trashed angelo i say the big disappointment is daniels. the big man has not played well all year, far worse than last year.

and jay, you will care if you hang with x-man on the tables. x-man has the golden touch with the bones.

angelo and baby shaq have been disappointments for different reasons. angelo came in with all that pac ten hype and has led the team in turnovers, not scoring. kaelen brought the thought we were solid at the post with a big man poised as the best center we've had in decades. instead, his numbers have shrunk, in part i think because he's not completely healthy.

Those two have been big disappointment this seasons, but if they turned it around the rest of the season all can be forgotten. Until this team is officially eliminated from the NCAA division II tournament I still have hope they can turn the season around and make the elite eight. Of course this is asking alot from a team that have been inconsistent the entire season.

2. angelo breaks his single game record of 10 turnovers by losing the ball 11 times in arcata, and hall goes off on him some more

3. larry continues to AVERAGE a double-double and is named player of the year for a ninth place team

4. the broncos finally upgrade their web site

5. coach k. takes another job after getting no program support

6. the student vote for a glorified intramural building is defeated

7. lakdod graduates but only after his bruins and lakers go deep in the playoffs (but both teams fall short of the title)

8. x-man watches the titans go all the way at the ACC

9. donelle makes a free throw

10. obama is elected president, and billary moves out of the country

I like 3 with LG winnig the CCAA player of the year,4 and 9 to happen but the rest would not happen. A I wont be graduating unfortunatley and my lakers and bruins are going to win it all this year. I still have hope on our broncos bringing home the title but it looks like a long shot. I still have hope, but it will be very difficult. my predicition on fullerton they get into the NIT and bounce in the first round.

Hall never bashed angelo's game. Hall just talked about his attitude and on the court antics. Hall is sick of it. the only thing i said is that no college player should get 10 turnovers in one game. But damn just when i thought that was a fair statement OJ Mayo had 10 turnovers against the bruins. So bottom line, its okay for a player angelo to have 10 to's in a game if Mayo did.

i have to agree with mr jay. xman you are prolly right on half of those statements. the website sux and from the looks of it coach k doesnt get any support from athletics.

Speaking of athletics, the last time i checked, Jeff Bonds was an All-American. How come his picture isnt up in the gym? Can someone please tell me if I'm not the only person that has noticed that? Someone please have a call to action on this!

just as our pep band and cheer team are at their all time best the rest of the program is in a funk.

maybe it's lack of money, but i asked about jeff's picture going up years ago and nothing was ever done. i also asked about his number being retired. these kind of things, though subtle, build a program.

heck, i'd pay for the freakin' photo and frame if that's what it took. and i'll even wear the billy bronco suit since nobody has stepped up for that role.

BTW, jeff is tearing it up in the british pro league again, averaging more than 20 ppg.
