A Letter from the ASI President

A Letter from our new ASI President (source: Student Planner)

August 2003

Welcome fellow Broncos! As your Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) president, I'm enthusiastic about working with you to enhance our academic experiences and building a positive campus life together.

ASI provides outstanding student services, programs and leadership opportunities. Through this organization, I Have developed my interpersonal, professional and leadership skills to prepare myself for the medical profession when I complete my Bachelor of Science in Biology.

I encourage you as students of Cal Poly Pomona to become involved in the variety of clubs and organizations available. The tools provided in this planner are extensive and are a road map to your success on campus.

This year, I am proud to represent the voice of the student body, and I look forward to working with University President Michael Ortiz as we share many new beginnings.

I invite you to visit the new and improved Bronco Student Center, which serves as the gathering place for the university. WIth your involvement, we will continue to build a strong community where we can study, meet, workout, eat, play and live.

I hope you are as excited as I am to be a part of this great University! Help make our college experience a memoreable one. Let us be proud and strong! Let us be Broncos!

Sincerely,

Jason Dyogi
ASI President

I voted for him and the VP.
I actually went to the ballot to vote because of the prize (free parking permit) they were to give out to one lucky winner.
Didn't win though.

I like the new foodcourt also. More place to relax and chitchat.

I have never visited inside the new court yet.
Is the new gym in the second floor? And how much does the membership cost for current students?
