![]() | i am supporting both the titans and bruins since they look like the only local teams making the dance unless the trojans climb over the bubble. nice solid tourney for the bruins, should be a number one seed. lakdod, i hope they go all the way. titans look like they are putting irvine away, figure about a 12-14 seed? am happy to see the men of orange dance. it's been a while. hope they surprise somebody in the first round. |

![]() | you're right, jay. titans are projected in the 12-14 range depending on who is laying down the brackets. bruins are a lock for top seed. i hope titans get in west region so the fans can see them dance for the first time in thirty years. hey, have some cal state pride. very few teams in the CSU ever get to dance much. |

![]() | anybody want to take some points on the bruins versus mississippi valley state in anaheim? bring in the freshman team. and titans go to omaha, but this time without their bats and gloves. the baseball team goes there for the college world series regularly, but this trip will be to see if they can catch a badger sleeping. x-man you do talk some smack but as a former titan i hope for an upset so your pals on this board might get off your back for a while. |

![]() | you got some class, mr. j. the titans are the only cal state in the dance in either DI or DII. the only other CSU still playing is san diego state in the NIT. let's be positive for the players working hard to bring some press to our local guys. just ignore wall of shame who now wants to tear into new freshmen. the DII regional final has alaska playing BYU. hey, any news on new bronco recruits? |

![]() | there was an article in the local suburban newspaper that had coach k. up in stockton at the juco state championships looking for talent this past weekend. the article says we need help at all five positions. we lose angelo (ugh), baby shaq, and kevin. only kevin was relatively consistent all year. i only hope austin swift will be healthy. if we can get a hard nosed point guard and a tough 3-4 man--or better yet a post man--who can play major points we can compete. i suspect coach will sign a couple of juco studs, starters i hope, and then about three more high school seniors who can build the base. we all know larry will be the team leader. but he needs help, particularly at the point. lakdod usually has the inside news of signings if i don't. news anyone? |

![]() | The only way I find out about stuff is through the internet. I just have good internet research school since I am a history major. It is so easy to find stuff on the internet today. My hope for next year class a HS center, tweaner thats a foward, and shooting guard. My line up right now with the current team C Krause, tobias PF Gordon, Forelli SF Swift, Booker SG Collins, Jimmy Pg Watters, Harris The big weakness I see is at Guard and Center. I think the biggest need the broncos this year is a consistent shooter. The broncos played their best when they have a consistent shooter. Angelo was that player the last three games, but was not during the regular season. the Broncos need a Center that has alot of upside out of HS. I think next year a team has the potential to be good with Larry coming back, but like I said the broncos need a consistent shooter from the outside. |

![]() | good analysis but both coach and austin himself say his natural position is at the point, not on the wing as a small forward. i was looking for a backup to the point since collins is very weak on ball handling and very slow on the dribble drive, something he almost never even attempted and as a result must play spot minutes only. watters showed a few flashes, but we need help in the backcourt, particularly with a jboyd guy who can rain in those treys. i look for tobias to get much tougher next year and contribute more. but we still need to locate a quality big man at least 6-6 with some beef. kraus and jahn won't scare many foes to be sure. it's very rare to get a major contribution out of a freshman--though larry did not disappoint--so that's why we need either a couple of juco studs or another DI bounceback. though angelo never lived up to his hype. we need another solid mike ridgway guy--smart, tough, good shooting touch from the field and line. i remember coach k. crying he was thin about six years ago and i said, hey coach, some DI guy might call looking for minutes. the next day the call came in from the ridgway family, and later in that season we had won our first west regional ever in hawaii. keep the phone on the hook, coach k. |
