![]() | It's Deal or No Deal Week in the next seven days we will know what this bronco team is made of. will it be the team that easily handled central washington and kept both the hated jacks and yotes at bay? or the team that can't close against inferior teams? thursday, at humboldt. saturday, at sonoma. tuesday, at san bernardino. this is the murderer's row of the league. i sure hope the athletic department has a booster bus for the coyote game. we will need it. |

I talk to some people at the home game against LA and I ask if there will be any buses. As of right now there is no buses going to SB. If there no buses to SB we should have people carpool to the game.

![]() | after the smoke and the dusk clears, hope the broncos will come out walking and not stumbling after this road trip. this trip has the making to be a disaster! i agree, there needs to be some type of booster bus so the fans can go to the game. it's on a weekday, why not? someone make it happen. |

![]() | i asked the SID about this and he says he'll look into it. he's on the way to redwood country today for the huge showdown with the jacks at east gym. i think we'd all be happy with 2-1, and preferably with the loss against sonoma for it would vastly improve our regional stature. paul is webcasting both thursday and saturday's games, and he's a pro at it. |

If we can not get a bus we need to advertise a carpool system to San Bernardino. It does not matter if we get a bus or not I will be there.

![]() | Man the Broncos got killed by Humbolt 84-62. Listening to Helms brodcast it sound like they played some bad defense. If you allow a team to shoot 62 percent in a game you will lose the game 99.9 percent of the time. Anyways I thought this was the game they were going to lose on the three game road trip. I thought it was classless that Humbolt coach still had his starters in when they were up by 20 with 1 min left. I have a feeling this wont be the last time we see Humbolt this season. If this team wants to go to Boston they need to improve their team defense. I also think Daniels need to step up his game. I think he has to be the third scorer that the Broncos need. He is a very good player but it seems at time he is not agressive enough. If he played like he did against Stanislaus the Broncos will be unstopable I think Saturday game against Sonoma might be a must win game. This is probally the most winable game of the road trip, and it is must for the Broncos to pull one win out of this road trip. |

![]() | Must win is about right. If we don't catch the W on Saturday we'd almost have to run the table the rest of the way. I expected this one to be a tight game with HSU winning, perhaps on friendly calls, by three to six points. This one was a blowout from start to finish, beginning with being down 14-2. And that's troubling. The only bright news is that this might be the wakeup call this team needs. Coach Wood has done some funky things over the years. It isn't very smart to let people like KJ run wild in the closing seconds of the game even if it is a treat for the sellout East Gym crowd. I think we need a Yote win Saturday if for no other reason to keep the regionals in our 'hood. We absolutely don't want the dance to begin in East Gym. Jeff and the boys more than took care of business by the way easily cruising to a 22 pointer over Sonoma. We need that kind of confidence builder. We need to learn how to dominate, even on the road, or we will end up at best a bottom seed in the regionals--if we get there at all. If we don't mark this one as the year the Broncos make the greatest fold in team history. Time to step up, men. WRT Baby Shaq he's had a number of nagging injuries. Coach K's dilemma is that the other bigs just don't have the size to bang in with the trees like Ivan Johnson so they get pushed around a lot. At least KD gets a day's rest before donning his body armor again in Rohnert Park. Totally agree, lakdod, it's a soft defense that allows such hot shooting. It's a brutal road trip to Arcata but it's not like we were tired from a game the night before. The CCAA changed the schedule to accomodate the demand of going to this remote site. East Gym has been sold out for almost a week for the first place showdown, a spot we once held all alone undefeated at 5-0. We need to win the next two to return to the conversation, and we might need help as well. Seawolf Gym is not as cozy as East Gym, but the fans are pretty loyal even during so-so years. And the Wolves have won eight of the last ten while we've done less. If we're better than last year's disappointment we must prove it on the floor. |

![]() | paul helms did another nice job on the mike last night but he seemed frustrated like you say by the leaky defense. that's very unusual for our broncos and i hope not a bad sign for the upcoming games. it seems that dion and larry always do their thing but we need others to step up. luis had a horrible night and daniels was off too. both dion and larry were nominated for best player in the league in the conference website so don't forget to vote for them, but curiously our broncos never have had a player of the week. sonoma is fighting for its life, so this next game is as important for them as for us. for us, it keeps us in the mix. for them, it's almost an elimination game. |

![]() | broncos win, saves the season. thats why they play the games. heart heart heart. i listen to the game, broncos were down 12 points early and than they showed up. larry gordon our best defensive player stop ivan the beast in the second half, this guy is atleast 50 lb bigger than larry, it shows you defense is about heart and not size. now if we win 2 this weekend we are for sure going dancing. chris |

![]() | The streak at Coussoulis Arena finally ends. After a 9 game losing streak at San Bernardino the Broncos finally win. It was great to witness this victory that wnd the losing streak. This is the first time the Broncos beat the coyotes since 1998. The senior carried this team to victory. Cook led the team with 26 pts 3 assist and steals. Billy Hoffman with 13 pts and 6 assist. The only negative was they could not stop Ivan Johnson. Of course nobody in this league can. The team that showed up against the Coyotes is the team that we were all raving about in the beginning of the season. If this is the team we see for the rest of the season the Broncos have a good chance in the tournament. Now we got to start rooting for Humbolt to lose twice and the Coyotes win out becaues I want to see our Broncos in person during the tournament. |
