Internship opportunity at Cal Poly Pomona

Hello Broncos:

I wanted to tell you about a great internship program that Cal Poly and Americorps has for our campus. The internship program is call the Justicecorps and it is regulated through our center for community service learning. Basically, the program is for anyone who is interested in pursuing law school or any career. The program recruits students to work at the superior court house legal aid centers either at Pomona or Downtown. Students have the opportunity to interact with clients, help fill out forms, learn family law and small claims law. Students will learn a lot about divorces, child support, custody, small claims and other legal matters by working directly with litigants. Besides working with people, all members will receive a $1000 grant from the feds for completing 300 hours of service withing a year. I am currently a member and I can tell all students that this program is unique and will certaintly expand nationwide. This will be an eye opening experience for anyone who would like to go into law or politics. Our director has informed us that we still have spots and told us to spread the word.
