Humboldt vs Pomona - Cal Poly Pomona and San Luis Obispo University Forums

This is a big game for our Broncos we need this win to have any chance to make the NCAA tournament through records. Humboldt holds the top spot in conferences. a win against Humboldt and Sonoma would put the Broncos at worst a game behind first place. a loss would put the Broncos in a deep hole. a battle between two CCAA player of the year candidate in Pearl for Humboldt and Gordon for Pomona. i think the key of the game would be the broncos offense. The last couple of games they played some of their best defense but the offense is a different story. The Broncos need huge games from Gordon and Angelo. Also Booker need to make some FT especially down the stretch. He shooting 21% from the Free throw line

The main guy who needs to step up this game and the rest of the season is Daniels or Neveu. we are getting little consistancy from the center position and the broncos need more from the two in order to make a run. i will make my prediction on wednesday because i will be going to vegas on thursday for my 21st which means I wont be able to make the game.

good assessment, lakdod, but this day is almost over and we need your pick.

two more monster games, both at home. we need a sweep.

remember, we will have the yotes, the jacks, the gators, and the seawolves ALL on the road in the coming weeks where wins are way harder to achieve. the back end of our schedule is brutal.

it looks like the two or three bronco webcasts some of you have heard are over.

the athletics web site still lists the next one as january 4, which is three weeks ago. and the humboldt game only can be heard from the point of view of the other team's announcer. so better go to the game if you can.

there's absolutely nothing for the sonoma game. ugh.

Okay here is my prediction. I think the Broncos need to come out with alot of energy if they have any chance against Humboldt. I think that they will and I see the Broncos winning a close one 64-60.

Since I might not be on the board this week here is my prediction for Sonoma game 67-61 with the Broncos winning.

Guys give me update on how the Broncos play. My 21st birthday is tommorrow and I will be heading to vegas for my birthday. when i come back i hope to hear about two wins for the broncos.
