| Cal Poly Guru | According to what I hear from faculty, Pomona has one of the highest crime rates in the nation. HOWEVER, I've never even suspected that fact because the campus and close-surroundings are quite safe. You should live in: SOUTH OF CPP 1. Diamond Bar (2+ miles from CPP) -Very clean & Asian populated. Nice neighborhood. 2. Walnut - city adjecent to Diamond Bar WEST 1. West Covina - it's nice plus it has a shopping mall, ikea, and other retail stores all around. NORTH 1. San Dimas - calm place, but pricey since part of the city rests on a hill 2. Glendora - i think that rent is expensive, but it's quiet EAST 1. Montclair (5-10 miles) - Slightly more upscale, but expensive My preferences based on value: Diamond Bar, West Covina, Walnut. The rest are either too pricey for me, distant, or lacking some aspects of life (ie entertainment)
